Our Services & Gentle Process

We strive to make saying goodbye as peaceful, stress-free, and comforting as possible for both you and your beloved companion. Every step is handled with unhurried patience, deep empathy, and absolute dignity.

The In-Home Process:

  • Initial Settling In: We begin by meeting with you and your pet in their favourite, most comfortable spot at home - whether that is a soft bed, a favourite rug, or right beside you on the couch. We take all the time needed to let everyone settle.

  • Step One - Gentle Sedation: We first administer a sedative injection. This ensures your pet drifts into a deeply relaxed, pain-free sleep. They will feel completely comfortable and entirely at ease in your arms or beside you.

  • Step Two - Peaceful Euthanasia: Once your pet is fully sedated and sleeping soundly, and you are ready, the final euthanasia solution is given. This transition is completely peaceful, painless, and gentle, allowing them to slip away quietly surrounded by the family they love.

Compassionate Aftercare:

Following the procedure, you do not have to worry about logistics. We partner with Gateway Pet Services to ensure your pet is treated with the utmost respect and professional care.

  • Cremation Options: Gateway provides trusted, dedicated aftercare services, including individual or communal cremation options tailored to your family’s wishes.

  • Return of Keepsakes: If you choose individual cremation, your pet’s ashes can be safely returned to you alongside meaningful memorial keepsakes, such as personalized paw prints, custom urns and jewelry.
